#Toptip #5 : Latching on help
To help prevent soreness in breast feeding, one Mum of 2shared this great tip with me:
Hold your nipple in line with babies nose, even touch the tip of their nose with the tip. Your baby will then lean their head back and open their mouth wide. You then put your nipple into their mouth. Your baby should then take a large mouthful. If your baby doesn't take a large enough mouthful your nipple will rub the top of their mouth. This will hurt and you will end up with sores. If they don't take a large mouthful put your little finger in the corner of their mouth, this will make them unlatch then try to larch your baby on again.
Hope this helps,
